Eunizer's community work focuses on the real challenges farmers face in rural Ghana: disease outbreaks, limited technical support, inconsistent access to quality inputs, and market pressure. We provide practical education, outreach and community initiatives designed to protect animals, improve productivity and strengthen livelihoods.
Community program pillars
1. Farmer Education and Extension Sessions
- Short, practical training on vaccination, deworming, hygiene and record keeping
- Biosecurity basics: movement control, visitor control, disinfection and housing hygiene
- Feeding and water management for better growth and lower losses
- Responsible medicine use: correct dosing, completing treatments and safe storage
- Rabies awareness and bite prevention for households and communities
2. Rural Outreach and Preventive Campaigns
- Community-based sensitization on poultry and livestock disease prevention
- Seasonal outreach on high-risk periods (heat stress, rainy season disease pressure)
- Simple farm checklists and posters for daily routines
- Guidance on isolating sick animals and early reporting

- Practical advice on planning production cycles and reducing avoidable losses
- Market readiness: grading, handling, and simple quality practices
- Linkage support conversations for producer groups and buyers where possible
4. Youth, Women and Community Skills
- Skills sessions for youth and women in poultry and small ruminant management
- Safe handling training for farm hygiene and basic biosecurity routines
- Mentorship and exposure visits (by appointment) for serious farmer groups
5. Civic Responsibility and Community Well-Being
- Community clean-up and sanitation activities that reduce disease risk
